Meet the Doctor
Dr. Garrett Teel was born and raised in Lincoln, Nebraska, where he attended Pius X High School and later earned his undergraduate degree from Nebraska Wesleyan University. Inspired by his grandfather, Dr. Bryan Melvin—a respected dentist who practiced in Lincoln for over 40 years—Dr. Teel developed an early fascination with dentistry, particularly the craftsmanship involved in restoring patients’ smiles.
With a deep-rooted passion for science, problem-solving, and hands-on work, Dr. Teel pursued his dental education at Creighton University School of Dentistry where he graduated with the class of 2021, earning accolades for both academic excellence and clinical skill.
Dr. Teel now lives in the Fremont community with his wife, Emma, and their daughters. They are proud to call Fremont home and look forward to raising their family in a welcoming, vibrant community. Outside of the dental office, Dr. Teel enjoys spending time outdoors with his family, running, and sharing his musical talents as a guitarist and vocalist in his church’s worship team.

I'm very happy with Fremont Laser Dentistry. My whole family goes there. The work has always been excellent. The laser drilling for filling was great, no anesthesia was required. Appointments are on schedule, I have never have to wait and have always completed on schedule. The entire staff is friendly and competent. Dr Teel is also friendly, competent, and confident. Cost seems fair.
